Accommodation

This spacious and colourful Catalan style single level villa sleeps 8 + travel cot in 4 large bedrooms - 1  kingsize bedroom with en-suite bath/shower & toilet, 1  double, and 2 twin bedrooms.   Fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms.   There are 2 bathrooms in addition to the en-suite - 1 with walk in shower, the 2nd with a toilet and self-contained shower cubicle.  There is also a separate toilet (in all, including the en-suite, there are 3 toilets).  

As this is our own second home, you can be assured the villa is decorated and furnished to a very high standard.   We want all the comforts of home, and we want that for our guests too.   There is a large sejour (living room) which includes lounge with leather sofas & chairs, large flatscreen TV with UK freeview & terrestrial stations, UK radio stations, video, DVD, hi fi and CD player.    2nd TV (but no UK television) with video & DVD in twin bedroom.    From the lounge area, there are large casement doors with steps down to the front garden.

The Dining area has large rustic table and chairs. All rooms have large floor standing room fans to keep you cool. Unique and interior designed Kitchen with large island unit & bar chairs, dishwasher, hob and cupboards. Fridge freezer, fan oven & microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, Cafetiers, in fact most of the things you'll need to make your stay comfortable and homely. Washing machine in 2nd bathroom.  

There is under floor central heating throughout the villa (for colder months) for which a charge is made from October to April.    From the kitchen area there are large patio doors to colourful terrace with BBQ, pizza oven & water feature, large patio table & chairs seating 8/10. Steps down to large Mediterranean garden, and new 5 x 11m swimming pool where there is plenty of sun loungers set around the patio area around the pool, which is laid with local stone.

The villa is set in large and wide gardens, front and back.   There are 2 sets of large double (locked) gates at front to enable you to put your car on the drive either side of the house.   For safety with small children, these can be kept locked.   There is a central smaller gate in the middle of these 2 sets of gates, which leads up the colourful path and steps to the front door.

The garden is walled all around and pretty secluded.   There is a wide variety of mediterranean trees, shrubs and herbs (including Lavender (obviously!!), Rosemary, Thyme, Oleander (please don't let children touch this plant as it can be poisenous if eaten), Eucalyptus, Cypress, Fir etc.   The centre piece is a large and beautiful weeping twisted willow tree.   There is a large Pygoda with stone round table and stone seating around, perfect for aperatifs in early evening!

There is a large terrace with colourful tiles, with steps leading down to the garden and pool (please note these tiles can be very slippery when wet, so do take care).   On the terrace, there is a BBQ and a pizza oven, which really does cook pizzas well!   There is a large patio table seating 8/10.  

The villa is open all year to holidaymakers and those wanting a base for house hunting. We always try to arrange reduced rates for long lets, so please do call us as it may be that we can arrange special prices for the weeks you want! The villa is very comfortable year round, with underfloor heating throughout.
